I think I found a mantis shrimp in some lr. It's pretty much the scariest shrimp I've ever seen. I've heard horror stories about them and other inverts. He's in a seperate container right now and I'm not sure I should let him loose in me tank. He's 2" long. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If you don't want to keep it, try posting on the mantis shrimp forum here. A lot of people keep them in tanks of their own, they're apparently really neat little bugs. Otherwise, there's a guy who posts there who will buy him off you, I see him post from time to time. I wouldn't keep him in the reef though. :)

Do you think I could keep him in the sump until I get a different tank for him?
