This HUGE hairy mushroom has a nice green bacground and is definitely impressive in it's sheer size. It's got to be close to a foot across and is attached to a "movable" piece of LR. If you want a pic first, that'd be fine too.

Super,, I'm sure we can find a spot for him in the school tank. Last time I had one I fed him squid for a few days and then it split on me to smaller pieces and each piece had a mouth later.

This ones has 2 or 3 mouths, but I don't target feed it. It just keep getting bigger. I can bring him down anytime you'd like.

How big is the school tank "front-to-back". This puppy is easily 12 inches across, so it takes up at least a square foot of tank space. It looks like a small pizza. I'd prefer the school just got it from you or "someone promoting their interest in the hobby". With the snow arriving, it'll likely be at least Sunday before I can get it to you.

If I snip a half inch off the edge, will it be ok for Snookie (like a regular 'shroom), or does it have to split on it's own. If a frag has to include a mouth, all of them are too far "in" from the edge to frag it.

It does it by its own but I can get a colony for Snookie when I get some. The school tank is 120 and I checked it yesterday and they do have a spot and told them that they are getting it. If you bring it to me then I can take it down.

Most excellent. Depending on the roads, I might get it to you tomorrow. If we get another dose of snow, I'll wait until an evening this coming week.
