As I have said in the other threads on this topic. This is a new feature and we are going to give it a little time before we decide how we are going to limit their use. Thanks for the feedback.

maybe a "poll only" forum could be started? or maybe only the moderators should start the polls; some of them are a waste of bandwidth,imo.

I think the poll feature is being used a little less now that the novelty has worn off.

Once in a while is OK.
When you look at a topic, and every two out of three post is a poll, you got to darn many and it becomes annoying.
