i got one, and they work great: after initial startup, you can't hear them, and the amount of light they put out is good too.

I ALMOST want another: but i like it how it is (I have one of them in the center of my tank, and the ends are shaded so i can keep everything from sps and clams to shrooms and other low-light corals.
