A filter sock is highly recommend on your down flow to your sump. Also make sure you Skimmer output isn't casuing any bubbles.

yeah i have a filter sock, but it seem that there are still a lot of particle floating around.

If you have a cannister filter, run a micron cartridge in it for several hours and that should take care of any particulate matter in your water column. HTH, Skip

I hope that I can get off work for the next meeting. I like the idea of comparing kalkwasser reactors to calcium reactors to just adding daily supplements. Maybe we could even discuss some factors that indicate when we should consider upgrading from one system to the next or how to know if your current method is sufficient enough to make upgrading not cost effective.
