Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone has any C02 equipment for a calcium reactor or a reactor they want to sell. I am building a C)2 reactor and I will need a co2 tank, regulator, selinoid, valves etc and the other stuff.

If not, can you recommend where to get one at the best price.

Mal, I have a line on a full 20lb co2 cylinder for $50 as for the reg I can get a dual reg like mine for $50 as for the needle valve check out premium aquatics for it. then just use a micro ball valve for effluent control. I think PA has those too or us plastics.. let me drop an email to a bud to see if he has any ball valves laying around..

Would you guy suggest getting the valves at a local welding shop or an online aquarium dealer?

yellowtruck a co2 reg. is a co2 reg. remember if "reef" or "saltwater aquaria" is attached to anything, the cost just went up 100%

Mal,
I try ........:)

I called about the reg. I'll need to order it. It will take a week to 10 days..

The needle valve you'll need to adjust the bubble rate of CO2 very fine adjustment.. A 20lb cylinder about 28 to 32 inches tall. (there about) I'll have the CO2 bottle by this weekend. you will also need a check valve too, and I have some CO2 grade tubing laying around somewhere.. You will only need a soloniod if your going to be using a ph controller...

Gotta jump in here cause im settimg up my reactor soon & its the needle valve, solenoid & ph controller thats holding me back... should be soon though. I have a dual guage regulator & c02 tank from my beer fridge I no longer use. While I was looking through needle valves/solenoids I noticed there was 1/8" & 1/4". How do I know which one I need?

Greg by what ever size your output from the reg is.. 1/8 inch is fine cause we only use small tubing..
