I have had very bad problems with yellow tang/ purple /sail fins eating not only acro's but bad on bubble corals. just last week we had to remove a sail fin for a display( tank 80 gl plus) for eating bubble corals. We were givin a purple tang from a customer that munched on acro's like crazy..I guess each fish can react different. hope this helps( turbo snails are really good on hair algae, but beware of the corals, they could be turned over.keep puting the snails on the algae...dennis:rollface:

Dennis,
How much do you want for the Purple Tang?

Hey Dennis,
I guess your Yellow Tang is the exception to the rule. I have 17 of them in my tanks (one per tank) and none of them are eating my corals. As you know I have sofies, SPS's, LPS, Zoo's, mushrooms, etc. They will go in between the Zoo polyps to eat algae.

The other problem with loading a tank with snails is that when the algae is reduced in the tank the snails will starve. Just something else to kept in mind. You can allways feed a fish.
