Which reminds me, Where'd Patty end up? She was going to take a break for a few months, whixh was certainly well-deserved, but I haven't heard anything about her status lately.

PS She sure was a lot easier on the eyes (and the Excedrin) than Ron!.

I don't know and I have not seen her for a long time. I have not heard from her too. I'm sure she will be round sometimes and taking a break and hope not from reefing. I will shoot her an email tonight.

Well the auction ended and no one helped me purchase the tank so if Ron want to drop his price to say $200 I will take it and I do have access to a fork lift so I would be good then.

I thought "no reserve" meant no minimun.

I thought that also but with a starting bid of $1000 I guess it means no reserve but starting there. If no reserve meant no minimun I would now have a tank for $1

no reserve means at the minimum they have set so you would get the tank for a $1000

I was gonna setup a bigger tank, but can't now since I bought my new car.I got one of the 2004 mustang mach 1's.Paying $1060 a month a payment on my car and blazer, makes it hard to put all the money in a 700.So my 200 will have to do for now,I never tore it down.I couldnt get that tank in my house, all the doors are only about 30" wide.

Reserve on ebay is the sellers lowest selling price, only person that knows is the seller.Lets say his reserve was $3000.No one would actually win the auction unless it where at least $3000.If a acution doesnt meet the sellers reserve, then you dont get it.

There is no reserve and I know he wants to get ride of it and if you put $1000 and you are the only one he will take it.

I just realized that is the 12th today and not the 11th. I made him an offer before for $1500 and he wanted $2500. Sitting in the driveway all summer and now that snow will start will make it hard to clean the driveway with big blower that he has.

So offer him $500 for it. That's the problem with something that large. It's virtually worthless, because no one can use it.

I think moving it is a big issue. How will you feel paying over $2000 for something and you have to arrange moving something big like that. What if something went wrong and you lost all the money (how will you explain that to wife) :D . I know I can find a good place for it and set it up but moving it is not easy.

I might have his phone # around here. Do you want me to call him for you? Ron is always a tough call (especially for a shrink). Between being so god-awful cheap and insane to boot, he'll probably pass. With winter coming, he really OUGHT to be motivated to get it out of there, so that probably means he'd hang on to it (SHRUG).
Let me know if you want me to call him (and if you need another strong back and weak mind to help).

Not too close. The ETOH is enough to pickle your beard.
