I bought this tank a month or so ago because I wasn't sure if I was up to the challenge of building a stand for the other tank I have. Well, I'm almost done building that stand so I will not be needing this setup afterall. Would like to sell it or do a trade/partial trade for some of the equipment I need to set up my new tank. :)

The tank is a 55 gallon glass tank (48" x 15.5" x 17" H). Has a built in corner overflow in the back left side. Stand is pretty nice, solid wood construction from what I can tell not particle board. Asking $100 for the tank, stand, and canopy.

Or will trade/partial trade for any of the following:

-Mag 5 or 7 pump or similar
-Two SCWD'd
-5 or 10 lb CO2 bottle
-Live Rock (need around 50 pounds)

Hi vgibbens - I know that tank, it's in really good shape. I'm guessing the durso is 1.5" so it can handle as much as you'd ever want for that sized tank. Actually the previous owner still has the durso at her house, I will get it this or next weekend.

If you're looking for that sized tank - it's a really great deal. The coralline on the back should come off with a kent scraper.

OK, great, thanks Fliger. I will talk to the wife tonight. She said yes last night, but you never know.

You guys and your checking with wives stuff! Man, either my wife is awesome, doesn't care, or my marriage is doomed since I pretty much do what I want.

Ok, just got home and checked, the hole is for a 1.5" bulkhead. There is no bulkhead included, as Fliger mentioned he has access to the Durso and bulkhead however so maybe you can talk him into getting it for you if you get the tank :)

The seals all look to be in good shape. The tank does need to be cleaned (corraline covered back glass) but should clean up nicely.

Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

yep, definitely interested. Talked to the wife and she said to go ahead. I guess let me know when and where and I'll bring the $100.
