Hey does anyone know were to get extra large hats from? This one doesn't seem to fit anymore. I truly can't believe some of the incredibly nice comments you all have given my tank. You all know my wife is the one that has to deal with me now?

InsaneClownFish, Stomatella’s for the most part seem to reproduce very well in closed systems. Also if you find a local hobbyist with them it would only take a few to seed a previously stomatella free system. In other words they were/are free. The mini stars came in on some live rock and seem to do well and reproduce in this system.

I'd also like to send out a special thanks to Skipper and the gang at the RKmag.

Thank you all,

Jamie

Jamie,

I'd rather work full time than go to school and come home 15 hours later after a full day of classes and work nights.

anytime you want to trade.. I'll take the job and your tank. ;) :D

Jamie,

First of all, Beautiful tank. The colorations of those SPS are incredible.

Could you provide a little more detail on your lighting set-up? Are those 250DE HQI pendants? If so, what ballasts are you running? Also, how long do your bulbs last being driven with the Icecap 660?

thanks,
-todd

Well, I must send out another round of Thank you's to the new posters. I noticed the last two post were people from Isreal and Turkey. So I desided to look over all the posters and found people from all over the US including Alaska, many parts of Canada as well as the above mentioned Isreal and Turkey. To have a group of people join together sharing their love of the marine world is truly awesome.

Holly crab, look at the price of that pump !!! Is that right ? $185.00 just for a single pump.

How do you like the pump ? Does it really put out a lot of current for the SPS ?

Thanks,

Mattt.

Alright !! Alright !! enough is enough !!

He knows his tank is beautiful, you don't have to tell him that over and over again. Don't you have better thing to do ???

Your tank is great !!!! :D

Acro,

Could you tell me what does the tunze stream use to push that much water through the screen ? Does it has the same inpeller as the power head or does it has a boat like propeller ?

Thanks,

Mattt.

Hi! Acro:

Fantastic tank, the corals almost look too good to be real.
I just set up 120 RR tank, same demensions as yours & I just received my 2 PFO Mini HQI 250 watt pendants which I was going to hang from the ceiling but since I saw your set-up I might try to build a canopy instead.

I just do not have the calcium reactor yet but X-mas is not far away.

Great Tank,

Dan

Hey Guys thanks. ;)

Nick, I removed the sump style refugium for a few reasons. #1 I first removed the DSB from the main tank. I was experiencing unwanted matting type algae over the bed. I attempted for a better part of a year to deal with it with no success. Which in the end caused the removal of the main tank dsb. #2After it's removal and with a planned move ahead of me I thought it was a good time to remove the one in the sump as well. The sump dsb was much younger the main and did look very healthy. I just thoughts it was best to remove it. After the need to remove the main tank dsb I was thrown on the anti DSB train of thought. I find the corals looked and look healthy under both styles. Only now the algae is gone and growth has improved but that was I believe do to the exhaustion of the main dsb.
