For those of you in the NARC chapter of Alabama Reefers, I have put up a webpage with input from some of you.

Check it out here:

http://narc.50megs.com

Right now, it is free and banner ad free.

There is a charge for keeping it free of ads though after 2 weeks.
(we can discuss this later if we decide to go that route)

If you would like to have your own page on it, drop me an email with photos and info and I will gladly put up a page for you.

Mariner's page is up right now as well as some temporary pages.

I am open to suggestions, so please let me know.

Looks great! I like the bubbles coming up through the side menu.
Good job speakeraddict!

Thanks!

I love flash! Wish I could finish learning it instead of borrowing completed scripts then customizing them.

Please send me your tank photos and info to post it.

Looks good Steven. Nice to have a collective site. I'm glad we have someone who knows how to do that stuff.

here are some pics of mine from August when I first set it up:

what are the black pipes?

The pics look good.

Email some specs like on Mariner's page and I will post it under the folder yoda.

Thanks,

The black pipes are part of a closed-loop pump setup. Those are the returns. The input is behind/underneath the rocks. Its what I'm using instead of powerheads (I'll be making a 2nd one for the top of the tank soon.) It will make sense to you when you see it in person.

I'll get some specs wrote up soon.

Old School! :)

These work really well. We used to do this when we used lifeguard type canister filters. We would put the pump on the floor and draw the water out, through the cartridges and back into the tank through a network of pvc pipe and directional nozzles.
