Hello, I will be starting a 75 FOWLR soon. I have a canister filter and 2 powerheads for a total of 825gph. I have a bunch of base rock I'm going to be using and a 3 to 4" dsb. I'm going to be cycling with coctail shrimp as many people have recommended. I need about 7 to 10 lbs of live rock to help "seed" my base rock. Does anyone have any they need to get rid of, I don't need much?? Any thoughts would be great, thanks

I myself don't have any extra live rock, but I do know of someone that is/was selling live rock for 4$/lb. PM me if interested, I'll fill you in on the details.

I like how you guys hook up the new guy. But a member who has been on as long as some of you bets bumkis.

LOL

Welcome to the board Sregnar35. Hope to see your tank when you have it up. Also as a side note, you can also cycle your tank with amonia instead of the shrimp cocktail. Also just to let you know. Alot of people are backing away from the DSB. People are going towards 2-3 inch sand bed.

i have about 15# rock i want to get rid of. it's the stuff I got from dave, and unfortunately I'm not going to be able to make my 20 a reef as soon as I had hoped. I got it from him for $40, I'm offering to rid myself of it for $35. And I'm not just offering it to the new guy, you can have this deal too :D there's one piece of fiji and two fairly dense pieces if I recall correctly. If someone wants it, let me know.
