Maybe speakeraddict will luck out and we can pick him up too. If not, he can at least tell us what he might want frag-wise and we can look for him.

Which mall is most convenient for you? Harry lives in south Huntsville. Greenbean and I are in Madison. If it's okay with Greenbean's parents, I can pick him up at his house.

This month seems so long. I guess it is because I'm looking forward to the next meeting so much. Birdsnest is my favorite SPS and I'm really excited to be getting a frag. It looks great.

As far as rides go, I live off of Nick Davis so I'm probably halfway between Yoda and Tomoko, so where ever you guys decide to meet will probably be ok. Tomoko, I'm probably out of the way but if you still don't mind giving me a ride I'm sure my parents wouldn't mind either.

Which roads are you planning on travelling to get to Huntsville and then onto Rainbow city? The rest of us will try to figure out the meeting spot as convenient to you as possible.

I can use Wall-Triana, or Jeff Rd. to get into the Madison area. When I'm headed to Huntsville, I go straight HWY 53.

Rainbow City is to the south of Huntsville I think. Maybe I could meet you guys somewhere in between Huntsville and Madison (how about Home Depot on HWY 72 sound?)

I'll meet you guys just about anywhere, it doesn't really matter. :)

Hey guys - those of you who have been to the store before,

Is 431 the most direct route to go to Rainbow City from Huntsivlle? I suppose we can also go down 231 and cut across using 278.

If we travel on 431, Greenbean and I will meet Harry somewhere on Governor's Drive and wait for Yoda. If 231 is the better way, I suppose Greenbean and I can meet Yoda somewhere on 53 and head down to Weatherly Rd together and pick up Harry.

I live off of S. Pkwy and am going on 231 to 278 to get there according to mapquest.

I went down 231, over on 278, and just before 431, you will come to 77. Turn right on 77. The store is on the left about a mile after you cross 411. May not be the shortest way but for me it was the easiest.

If you go down 431 you can turn right on 77 just before you get into Attalla -- lots of traffic lights through Guntersville, Albertville and Boaz this way though.
For those in Decatur/Athens it would be quicker to take Hwy. 67 from Priceville to 231, turn right to 278, then left on 278 down to 77, right on 77 through Rainbow City.
I think I've mentioned that I used to preach for a church in Rainbow City (in the 1980's & 90's). The reason that I'm not carpooling is that I'm planning to visit some old friends later in the day and I didn't figure ya'll would want to hang around for that :rolleyes: It has nothing whatsoever to do with being stuck up :D :lol:

Looks like Harry has two offers for a ride.

Yoda, do you mind picking up Greenbeans and me in Madison and then head down to Memorial Pkwy/231? Since Harry lives down that way, it's easy to meet up with Harry on the way if Harry decides to come with us (It's your call, Harry.)

I suppose we need to get up early! The meeting is at 10:00 AM, right? How early should we be meeting up with each other in Madison/Huntsville? Can anyone give us some idea how long it would take to get to Rainbow City from Madison?

I went to Fish Tails today, and you know what, you need to come! The place is amazing and I will promise you will find something for everyone. Colors quality and variety is simply amazing!

If you are considering coming, you should definitely make plans to do so, it is out of sight. In the middle of nowhere there is a place with every reefer's delight waiting inside!

IMHO the 231/278 route is best due to less traffic and congestion.
Sure wish I could be there but I'll be thinking of y'all from Orlando.

278 is a good way to come down, getting off the interstate near Cullman. 231 is also viable. We travel that way whenever we head up north. Most of it is fairly new, and alot is 4 laned.
If you follow 278 you will come to a place called Mountaintop Flea Market on your right. You cannot miss it. go on a few more miles to a stop light intersection. That will be AL 77. take a right, and go 9 miles, You will pass over I59, go through Rainbow City, and then you will top a hill and it is on your left. You cannot miss it because it is painted like a reef tank. There is a lot of construction on 77 so it feels like you are driving forever
