I am looking for some chaetomorpha linum (spaghetti) algae.
I don't remember who grows it, was hoping for some that you prune.

I've got some in my fuge (came from tang after I got here)
You're welcome to some. I prune it back every few weeks.
I won't be at the next Frag, but *should* be able to make the next DMS if you want me to bring some, just let me know.

Thanks for the offer dmorel, I think helping Fliger will give me the chance to earn it. I will PM you, thanks

Doug, if you don't feel like wearing a "will work for Chaetomorpha sp." sign, I can get you some tomorrow at the FRAG meeting. Just give me an e-mail or PM if you need any.

Thanks mike, I will be at the FRAG, that would be great if you brought some. I will still help Fliger with his x-10's but you know what they say about one algae in the hand is worth two in the bush.

Doug,

If you haven't already found a source of Chaetomorpha sp. macroalgae, then I'll be at the FRAG meeting this afternoon with plenty to spare.

No problem, Blue. I'll bring a bucket of the stuff (plus some rubberbands and bags) for people to split amongst themselves. I figure arthritis will kick in midway through bagging this stuff up, so why not have some of you guys do some of the work?
