I will should have more zoos than what I had in my tank yesterday at the meeting this week to fill the empty spots. I will frag each and glue smaller pieces of each color on a big conch I have. I should start that project later today. This conch will be raffled at the future meeting I will have next year and I'm doing this so it will be ready by then and the lucky winner goes home with it. I will leave some space between them but not sure if I can fit all colors I have on it but I will pick the best colors and leave spots for more that I will be getting soon.

I have seen something similar before. Someone attached a xenia enlongata to an astrea snail. I think the zoos on a conch is a great idea. I cant wait to see it. :)

how long can you usually keep polyps & mushrooms out of water while fragging? i glued my first frag together last weekend and felt like they dried very quickly and i felt rushed. frag is doing really well though so i must have been quick enough.

I keep them out of the water as long as 2 hours and they do fine. Most of them grow on islands with low tide and I have seen that before so i figured that 2 hours is ok and I'm sure they will do fine longer too but not neccessary. If I'm doing small amounts of them then I have them out of the water for 20-30 minutes. Before glueing them I put them all on a towel and then cover it with another one and press on it to dry the rock so the glue stay stronger. It won't take them long to open too.
