Should I quarantine my Diadema Urchin?

I am getting a Diadema Urchin this week. I am curious as to whether or not I should go ahead and quarantine him or just acclimate in the usual manner and place in my main tank. I also read that exposing them to air is not to be done, is there a good way to pull him out of the bag without hurting him? Thanks,

Most people don't tend to Q inverts. Not that it is a bad idea to do so, just seems problems are somewhat less than with fish. BTW I've never found brief air exposure to be a problem with urchins, by this I mean the short amount of time from bag to tank ;)
