Hello everyone,
I've been reading, thinking, dreaming, planning, obsessing over reef aquariums for the past 3 months. I think i'm at the point that i feel like i know enough to get started, but i'm scared i'm going to get ripped off if i buy my equipment from a LFS. I visited one last week-end and they were selling the seaclone skimmer for $117(Makes me feel like all their prices may be equally inflated, lol). I would love some advice about where i could find a nice used reef set-up from 30-100 gallons. I would like to think everyone in advance. I'm so excited to get started.

Joel,

Try www.dfwmas.com and go to the forums. There are usually a few used bargins for you to choose from in the for sale section.

And please feel free to come to a meeting sometime to meet with like minded folks if you have a chance.
