I finally fragged my leather

I am sure that Troy will be happy to know that I have finally made a frag off of my leather coral, I beleive it is commonly known as a cabbage leather. The frag is about the size of a quarter and I have it mounted to a small piece of flat LR. Hopefully it will do good. I am a little concerned about this particular coral because it is completely surrounded by mushrooms to the point that they are always touching each other, maybe if I frag it and the mushrooms enough to give it some room it will grow faster. I also have a rock about the size of a tennis ball that has several blue mushrooms on it. Hopefully these will be ready for our next meeting. Skip

So I take it that everyone is bringing some frags for trade to the next meeting? I have a 2" frag (with branches) of Seriatopora gutatus that will be ready to go. Would like to trade it for some other type of cool SPS. Also have a pavona frag ~1" that I'll trade for just about anything. For the S. gutatus, check out the pictures in my gallery, the parent colony is the biggest coral you'll see in any of my pictures.

I don't have any SPS to trade, I only have a couple of frags of those and no colonies. Maybe someone else has some SPS they could bring to do some swapping with you. I think Troy said he might be ready to frag his orange montipora again but I don't know if he has or not. Skip

I'll probably bring a few leather frags...But I'm also going to try and frag some of my "Hard to Frag" things for the meeting. I don't know how well they will go, but we'll see.
