free webhosting for members

hey folks i just set up 2003 server if anyone needs hosting let me know....

will it have capreef.com/member/ setup for us. That way it will look better for us.

Give each account 10-25 megs of spave to host thier pics.

you will be able to pull it with capitalreefs.com/members/yourname and also yourname.dyndns.org

and i give everyone 100mb ...... if they need more thats not a problem...

Can it be set up for everybody. That why when we log into the site as a member that we get it. That way when new members join they can have it available for them also.

Yes every member can have a site.....

You will be able to access your sites via http://yourname/dyndns.org and www.capitalreefs.com/members/yourname/

I am also going top set up emails for all of our memebers yourname@capitalreefs.com

Question/Problem: I'm receiving the message, "426 Connection closed; transfer aborted". The problem is I don't really understand what causes it or how to rectify the situation.

Answer/Solution: See if you get the same error when you connect with the command line ftp client. If you do not get the error in the command line ftp client, then disable "Passive Mode" in the Connection properties window in WS_FTP.



folks if you get the 426 error then you need to disable passive mode in your ftp client.....
