The crispita nudibranch is said to eat hydroids, but typically will only eat them when they feel the need to protect themselves because once they start eating hydroids they are able to sting themselves. Pretty much when you are plaqued with hydroids and they are harming your fish you need to berak down and sterilize. Hydroids are typically only dangerous to small fish and fry. Do you have a lot of baby brine in your tank? This would be their main diet.
