Does anyone know of a good glass worker that can drill this size hole? I couldn't find anyone who could drill this size hole. I have two 1.5" ID bulkheads that I want to install.

Thanks,
Kevin

there are 2 stores in C/U that can do it, if you can get it here.

Who's the better of the 2, Henry? I may have the need for a good old fashioned tank drilling in the near future.

Not sure which 2 stores Henry is reeferring to, unless
one of them is Bacon and the other is Van Buskirk.

FWIW, I stopped by there, and they charge "$6.50 per
hole", you bring it to them and leave it for about a week.

I picked up an old metal-framed 75(?) over the weekend
that I'll take by there when I figure out what I want where.
Figure maybe use it as a sump. BTW, that's "picked up"
in a literary, not literal sense... found out when going
back later to get it, the bad boy has a slate bottom.

Never used arrow glass , Bacon Van Buskirk has yet to crack a tank of mine. Nice people too.

Be sure to check what they use as lubricant. I thought arrow glass used antifreeze.

Sailfin is running a tank sale this weekend. I may pickup a 180 and have Bacon Van Buskirk drill it. Bacon Van Buskirk is doing the mirrors and shower door on my new house so the least they could do is drill my tank.

i believe all glass cutters use anti-freeze when drilling holes through glass, FWIW. regardless, i've used tanks drilled at arrow glass, without washing them out, with zero problems.
