Hi all,
I just found one of my cleaner shrimps to have lost 5 of his 6 "moustaches" they just seem to be broken at 2 cm from their origin, with a black point on the tip.
No fish could have done that to them for 3 weeks ago I removed them to a small 1 gallon tank for I am treating my display tank from Ich. I looked for fragments on the bottom but didn't find any, could the other shrimp have broken and eaten them up? He couldn't have them stucked in the filter for the only filtration is a small corner air driven filter. He still is eating and moving well.
Thanks for any help.

What species of Cleaner shrimp? The Banded Cleaner (Stenopus sp.) is notorious for beating up other shrimps as are arrow crabs. What other inverts are in the tank?

No other inverts are in the tank except for the other cleaner shrimp that is the same type, they are both (Lasmata ambionensis) they have those two red strips that go along separated by a white one from head to tail. Will it recover? and can I do anything to help it???
Thanks Maroun.
