Parasite plz help !!!

I recently purchased a powder blue tang. He has small bulges under his skin which I suspect is a parasite of some kind. The fish seems prefectly healthy otherwise (swims well, normal respiration, eating). I do not have a quarantine but I could empty my predator tank if absolutely necessary(would rather not). He is in a reef tank. What should I do?

Subcutaneous lumps can just as easily be tumors, as they could be evidence of infestation by, say, certain flukes or worms. Many tumors are benign, and even if not, there's really little you can do about them short of excision.

Try to examine the lumps closely for evidence of discoloration or better yet an entry point or exposed bit of parasite. Then maybe we'll all know better
