My wife and I breed clownfish, and are going to come up that way (from Charleston SC) tomorrow (8/21) to bring some fish to HiTide. The problem is they only want 25 this time (bought 50 last time we came up there) and I can't tell them no, so I am on the hunt for another fish store in the area or on the way that I can swing a quick deal with to make the 2+ hr trip (one way) worth while, as we don't charge anyone for shipping. I suppose with gas close to $1.50/gal I probably ought to start considering it, but anyway....
Just wanted to ask the opinion of y'all on the following fish stores that I have found in the yellow pages.
Tropic Pets
Frank & Pegs Fish & Pet Place
Marine Biome (not sure if this is actually a fish store, just going by the name)
Fintastic - I have been in the store to check it out on one of our trips up there but they had a tank FULL of ORA clowns at the time so I didn't bother to try and talk to a Mgr or owner.
Advanced Aquatic Pets - Belmont
Wet Pets - Gastonia
Please give me your opinions on these stores (would you sell fish to them?)
