Rio Pump Parts

Anyone know where I can get a part for a Rio pump?

Yeah, I know now that there are problems with them but it's too late now.

I have one that ran fine in my reef structure adding additional current until it started to shake one day. when I took it out to clean I found it was missing the part that holds the impeller assembly. It's amazing it lasted as long as it did - 18 months.

I have written to Rio aka Taam several times but never even get an acknowledgement. I've checked a couple of LFS's as well and no luck.

Any ideas?

Hi Mickey,

Exotic Pets on Silver Lane in East Hartford always seemed to have a good supply of spare parts for various filters...more on-hand than I've seen anywhere else.
