Hey Tommy you know how you were talking about having some spare RO units? Well I'm pretty interested in one to fill my 55 gallon. It doesn't need to be any giant RO since I don't plan on having a lot of evaporation, or doing water changes. Also where can I get the membranes?

How much do you want for it? How are the snails doing?

Tommy do you have a digital camera? Cause I was wondering you could take 2 macro shots for me, for Dr. Ron. Take a picture of the nassarius shell when it's on the glass, and another when you can see it's back/shell. Shimek is interested in knowing which ones I and others are having success with breeding.

FF,I'll take 20 for the RO.
I do have a digital camera, but not macro lens. Will try if i see any egg cases .Did you buy them as being nass snails?

I did not purchase them as nassarius snails. I got them for free from Premier Pets. Chris said I could have them cause they came with this LR order. So I got about 30 of them off the glass. Now I have nassarius explosion. Yesterday I checked and I had about 15 new egg sacks. Are the reproducing in your tank? If I go to a TCMAS meeting I'll have to bring a bunch for free or trade for people.

Tommy I might add what model is it. What membranes do I need? How many GPD?

FF,
how many of the nassarius do you loose to pumps. I've lost 5 of the original 15 you sold me. Something says that I'll need to get more from you soon. Not sure if the hatchlings are surviving.

I'm not sure how many I loose. They seem to enter the refugium though and flow out back into the main sometimes. All I know is I have enough of them to not notice if any are missing. If you want to stop buy tomorrow and get a few more that'd be fine. I don't work so that's good. It'd have to be at my house this time.

Do you have the hose for it? That just hooks up to the faucet right? Is there a hose for where the water exits too?

Can you tell me exactly which carbon I need, or doesn't it matter?

OK I found two of them I'm not sure which one though.

Do I need a flow restrictor?

3 hoses,each about 7 ft
You won't need a flow restrictor as long as you go back to the same size membrane.
would need a faucet adaptor or asadle valve...depends if you want it to be permanent or not

PS. the carbon doubles as the sed. filter.

Tommy I don't think I'm going to need the RO unit right now. I just filled my tank with DI water so I should be fine unless disaster strikes. In that case I will be forced to buy it.
