I have had a beautiful colony of 20 or so flourescent green ricordia. They have been thriving for a year, though not re-producing much, but I understand they're much slower than shrooms. Over the past 48 hours all but two or three have slimed into oblivion. I pulled the rock and put it in QT so we'll see. What happened. Heat has been up a couple of degrees to 84 lately in the day and I put in a large carpet anemone next to them 6 weeks ago. Any ideas and what can or should I do to save the last few?
Thanks,

84 is a little hot for rics. Cool temps do not hurt them but the heat is a bad thing. The carpet probably did not help the situation but usually they don't hurt them unless they touch.

Mine don't seem to mine 84 degrees and my tanks been that warm for probably 2 mos. I'd lean towards the carpet.
