My PFO ballast developed a problem 5-3-01,after a few months of use. I emailed pfo and Jason at Premium Aquatics (http://www.premiumaquatics.com/) (where this ballast was purchased). NO response at all from pfo but Jason e mailed me within a few hours and offered to ship the replacement. Absolutely no hassle at all. Customer service means the most AFTER the sale, I wanted to thank Jason in this public forum and recommend others to his store.

I purchased a CPR System with overflow from them. They shipped me the wrong prefilter by mistake. When Jason realised the error, he shipped a new overflow by Fed ex 2nd day air without any hassle. He did not even ask me to ship back the pre-filter. Since then, I have done a lot of business with them...
Kudos to Jason and Premium Aquatics

I have had the pleasure of dealing with P.A. over the last two years. Their customer service is only surpassed by their knowledge of the inventory they carry. I will continue to order from the best on the web, Thank you Premium aquatics, for ,past, present and future orders.Your service is second to none!!!!

For all you whiners and doubters out there. Just gotta give my humble opinion of PA.

Customer Service - http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif They returned EVERY e-mail within a day or two. And I run an online business, so I know the volume of mails sometimes, so two days max is NOT bad at all, though most (all except for one email) were answered by the next evening.

Prices - http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif Once again, these guys have GOOD prices on a few things. Very competitive, and Jason trys to match if he can.

Shipping - http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif Ok, 1/2 of the companies out there mark-up their freight, but PA does not. They sent me a shipping notice with tracking information on the day my order shipped. All of the items were EXTREMELY well packed, and everything arrived in top shape.

Overall Experience - http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif http://www.reefcentral.com/vbulletin/images/icons/icon14.gif I WILL be doing business with these guys again. Although one item was on backorder, Jason offered suggestions to other products that would do the same thing, and in a similar price range (DI Add-on unit), I held out for the Spectrapure, but Jason kept me informed of all that was going on. Jason is friendly and very helpful, this order was a pleasant experience by comparison to alot of MO companies that I have dealt with on the web. Definately a good MO company to support. Keep up the great work Jason.

I always suspected that all of you "Premium Aquatics people" were on the company payroll :), but now I have my own glowing report in connection with a recent order where I had some bad luck:

I recently received a 250w DE hqi bulb, and as I was installing it I noticed a significant hairline crack in the porcelain where it meets the glass. I am not sure if it came cracked, came with a defect, or if I accidently may have cracked it. Jason shipped a replacement immediately.

Unfortunately my PFO 250w DE hqi ballast also had a problem: I came downstairs to find the lights out, the breaker tripped, and a very strong electrical odor - one of the ballasts was fried. Jason put me in touch with Lisa at PFO and a new ballast is on the way.

Great customer service, prices, and selection.
