I held a meeting a few months ago and had a small turn out do to various reasons. I talked to the boss and she said it would be ok to have another meeting at my house. So if we have no others that want or need to have a meeting this month then I will offer it host the Aug meeting. Tentative date of Friday the 22 at 7pm. If the 15 or 29 is better for the majority then we can change it. Let me know what you think.

For me the 15th is the only one of those dates that I have off. Is there a reason we only have meetings on Friday? Let's try some Sat. nights Fridays are not the best for alot of us. Let me know. Later,
Rob

For me my days off rotate and I am working the noon-8 shift so that kind of makes it hard for me to make most meetings, especially if its in the afternoon. I currently have Thur and Fridays off. I do family activities durning the day when I get weekends off so prety much anything before 6pm it would be hard for me to make. And I also have several parties coming up on weekends that I am going to attend on the weekends at night. I know that Frank is in the same boat on weekends he is spending time with the family.
The 15th would be good for me. So we can make plans for the 15th unless someone else wants to host the meeting. Let me know what you want to do.

Aug. 15th works for me Bob. I'll be there.

Tom

I have two rocks covered in green button polyps to swap if anyone is interested. One of the rocks is a small 3" or so branch piece and the other is a larger bridge-shaped piece (excellent shape).

Sparky,
If you want to have it this month that is fine with me. I will not be able to make it because I am working that day. If you want ot have it on the 15th at your place I would be able to make that. Let me know what you want to do.

I will not be able to make it, because I will be at a wedding, the whole month is kind of a mess for me.

Seems like the 15th works out for more people. Therefore I won't be hosting.

At the last meeting some of us had discussed an agenda or topic for a future meeting. The ideas I see out there are group buys, trade night, frag night and I am sure alot more along this theme. I think this could happen and we would be helping each other and those members who purchase in volume.

FWIW,
"The new guy" can make pretty much any of these dates, although the 9th would be least preferrable.

Ok, It looks like ist going to be the 15th at my house in Hyde Park. 7pm is the start time. I have kenya tree corals to trade/give if anyone wants one. If you have some type of small plastic container then bring it with you. If not the good old ziplock bag will do. if you can make it please let me know so I can make plans for how much drinks, chips and dip I will need. Did you blow the dust off of the 46 bow yet? Picked up my eel at eds the other night. Cool little 6" SFE eats like a champ.

Hi all,

Is there room for a few more at the meeting? I'd be interested in attending and I know at least one other local reefer who'd want to come along with me.

If anyone is interested I have two rocks available that are covered in green button polyps. One rock (shown in the pic) is, I'm guessing without going downstairs to look, about 3 inches in length and the other is a larger arched bridge shaped piece that is maybe 7 inches long give or take. The picture shown is under actinic only. I realize that it is a bit blurry and apologize for my photo taking ability. I would gladly trade for soft corals frags now or corals to be named later. Looking forward to seeing everyone Friday at Bob's.
