I picked up a radio shack dual display digital thermometer today model 63-1035. It was $20 the $14 one was out of stock. The cheaper model does not show both temps at the same time. It has a probe that I stuck in the tank and used a suction cup I had laying around. I can't read that little glass one anymore without reading glasses. I compared it to the glass thermometer and it was right on from what I could see. The one I got saves the high and low temp of the room and the tank. The probe seems to be weather/water proof. The one that reef splendor sells it $30 so I figured I would give the RS a try and it seemed more accurate then the big digital temp made for fish tanks. There was a 1.2+ degree difference.:(

Let me know how the fans are and how you plan on hooking them up. I am thinknig of picking up 2 for the 125.

Knock on wood!!!! Good so far. I have 2 fans on the top now and I want 2 more. I might put 1 on the sump and fuge. I have a 5000 window AC that I leave on most days and have it blow at the tank and I also have fan blowing air into the stand that I leave the door open on. So far 83 has been the highest it has got.

I have gotten to about 82 in my 40 gallon in th apartment, but the AC is way to underpowered and with only 110 watts of PC lighting worried me, but with a few fans it has kept it pretty steady at around 80.
