July BRS/CT joint meet revival

Hello all,

Although the Six Flags trip will not happen, we are still tentatively planning a BRS/CTARS joint meeting at Aqua-Dreams in Feeding Hills for <b>Sunday 08/03/03</b>.

There will be a <b>frag swap</b> in the parking lot as well as a raffle. Aqua-Dreams will also be offering specials (TBA) in addition to their standard BRS discounts.

<i>BRS Members receive 20% off all additives and salts, 15% off all livestock, 10% off lighting, skimmers and equipment, and $2 per pound off on live rock and sand.</i>

I may have to pass. The earliest I think I could get there is 2:00 more likely 3:00 as it's about an hour from my house and I have family committments in the AM.

We have to travel 2 hours to get there, so we plan on being there at 11:00 and sticking around a while. Then we've got a 2 hour ride home.

It was a nice meeting today. Good to put some faces with the names. I hope we can meet again. Next time CTARS will make a better showing.

I agree, nice time up at Aquadreams. Very nice store. Met some people I hadn't seen since my last outing (Borneman lecture). I know, its been a year and I haven't been to an offical CTARS meeting yet. Nice to see you again Bruce. I most definately will be attending a meeting in CT before the year is out and plan on becoming a pseudo regular if you can call me regular.
