Just a heads up 200 gallon buckets of IO salt with free shipping to your door with $50 order. They do charge $4.89 tax on 2 buckets but its still a deal. Go to Petsmart.com and when filling out the order put FREESHIP in the coupon area when checking out. The pails are on back order due to the demand were putting on them but they will ship.

I ordered two buckets and they were out of stock but it still only took about a week to get delivered anyway.

I just checked the price at petco in Duluth yesterday $22 something for 50 gal bag.

When are they going to get the fish stuff back to normal? I wonder if they are going to have a 1$ per gallon deal as a grand opening some of the others have.

They were just remodeling the whole section with fish, somebody said that they were going to have all of the fish in 10 gallon tanks. I think this is so when they get sick they do not kill all the fish.

I was just in there today and did not look like they had and salt water fish and did not see any IO salt. The fish tanks are all now 10 gallons and only a couple of fish per tank. The fish should be bette now than before but do not know how much better will have to wait and see.

There is a new fish store in Superior on Thirteen and Tower Ave
in the basement of Superior Stove Works entrance on the side.
Grand opening in a month but they are open for business now. Bryan and his partner run the place and they are willing to please the customer. They are new so don't expect a lot but they had very nice cured LR at a good price. Bryan said they will have excellent prices on dry goods and are willing to special order. Stop in and take a look around.

:( yeah but im not sure "good prices" and "live rock" should be in the same sentence in the lfs's in this state! cheapest ive seen was 9$ lb at sopmething fishy and it just goes up up and away from there.

They have saltwater fish and coral and freshwater also pond stuff. Have just been open about two weeks so are not up to speed yet but it's coming along. Saw an ad in the phone book so went to check them out. I talked to Bryan and he impressed me as someone who would like to have the top shop in the area. Only time will tell but new blood is always good.

can't really expect to be much better here in the middle of the continent. we really can't get too much further from an ocean.
