Anyone have some sort of lighting for a 10 gallon tank that would be good for clams? I have a 10 gallon tank with the light fixture that walmart sells. it has a 15w no bulb in it. I know that aint enough light but is there a kit for that that might give me enough light for a clam. I want to put a maxima in. I live near kalamazoo and thought maybe someone might have something collection dust that they want to get rid of (lighting wise) for a 10 gallon.

Try a fixture form lights of america, power compact, cheap and you can get them from menards. I don't know if it would be wise to put a maxima clam in a 10 gallon tank. Metal Halide seems to be the best for them to thrive and not just survive!
