how good are these hang on refugiums?? and how easy\cheap are they to make?

I guess they are fine, but the bigger a refugium is the better. I would be more inclined to expand a sump or add on an additional tank, if possible.

i think they are great. I dont have one but any is good if you light it well and get some good growth... I use the walmart 10$ 13watt pc on a 10g and it worked great!!! Idea is run it 24/7 and cover the ref so its not lighting the tank at night!


I have some great macor that would work good for you in a set up like above!

im at school right now but soon i want to lay down my setup and get an idea on how to set on up effectively
