Well , After having done a sandbedectomy , some plumbing changes (Thanks hcs3 for the sump and advice), hood mods , etc , etc ...here she is cruising right along * knock on wood *

stats :
2 x 250w saki on the left , AB 10k on the right
and yeah that rock on the right was just added and not so live :p
2 x 3' NO 03
1 8" honeywell brand " turbo" fan blowing in canopy
mag950 , mj1200 , mj900

temp : 82.9 - 85.6
trates,trites,AM 0 last I checked
Ca and Alk - hrmm need to check
dosing Bionic and Aragamilk , I have a dual stage reactor just needing plumbing and a kalk reactor ready to go. I learned my lesson well , so I'll be testing them on a rock tub I have.

A 'sandbedectomy'??? That sounds painful.
But the tank is looking really great.

Thanks Dan , it was painful , lemme tell ya.

Come get this monti, I'm having trouble finding spaces is won't attach. :p Got a few others for ya to.

What led you to ectomy your sandbed? Sounds like a lot of effort.

Among a few other issues, sand anemones were the main reason. I couldn't keep snails alive, it was either the anemones go, or I get owned by patches of hair algae. In those terms, it's easier to understand , and in retrospect all the effort was a small price to pay.

I like your rock scape it looks nice, I did not see how big is your tank?

Thanks Maalox - I dont prefer the rock wall look , but in the 3' 65g size , dont have much to work with.
