The other morning, I noticed a Strombus snail was laying what look like bubbles on the front glass. The lights were off and I couldn't tell with the blue lights. After getting home, I had a better view of them. There were 6 clear circular sacks with an average of eggs in each. Viewed with a magnifying glass of course.

Do the eggs need to be fertilized by the male Strombus snail? Does these eggs need to be isolated in order to guarantee their suvivability? Any recommendations?

I'm not sure whether or not the eggs require fertilization, but I know they don't require separation to a new tank. In the last tank I had, they bred out of control with no help from me! I was literally giving them away! Also, I'm pretty sure the larvae are not planktonic feeders (I never used phyto).
