heater woes

Came home to find my heater went berzerk and cooked all my coral.... I am ice-bagging the water for the fish's sake, but the poor coral:( :( :(

So far, it looks like the frogspawn, both bubbles, all xenia, gionopora, and gorgonia (but it may just be hurt).... the leather may make it, but it doesn't look good:(

What type of heater was it?

'twas a Visi-Therm 250 watt. It was about 5 years old.

I had one go crazy once too and shatter.

try titanium with digital reading and dial,,little bit more expensive but it's worked great,,no more :smokin:
