This week might be a good time to make sure your A/C's working, break out the fans from storage and maybe freeze a jug or two of ice.

Stopping at Walmart after work to pick one up. Well...maybe two.

Wall thermometer says 88. Digital tank thermometer says 89, but I never believe it. Floating glass thermometer says 84 which is what my fingers say it is:cool: . A/C set to run at 82 and has been running since around lunchtime.

Glad I did, tank hit 90 yesterday evening. Stuff was begining to shrink. Back to 80 this AM, hopefully that will hold through out the day.

Man I love this aquacontroller!

Came home tonight and all the fans were on, all the lights were off, the room thermometer read 98 F and the tank was a cool 83! Its amazing what a little evaporation will do.

Drove to Walmart before work yesterday and picked up an a/c unit. Good think that I did too- the tank was 90 last night when I got home. This morning its a perfect 76. Well worth the $120!!!

During that heat wave, thankfully my tank was setup perposally in my basement and thankfully the highest temp it reached was 84, although I wished it didnt get quite that high, but seeing how Drew's tank skyrocketed to 90 I guess I was lucky.

Anyone know where the spell check is on here?? I'm getting wacked with various products in the store that are hazardous to my health for not using the spell check *cough*Drew*cough* lol (just kidding):p
