Wihtlout a pic it would be impossible to say.
I am willing to bet they are amphipods though.
Completely harmless. Beneficial in fact.

Hey, thanks for the help.

I will try to get a picture next time I see them.

I will try to expalin them a little better though to see if that helps any.

It looks like a head that sticks out just above a few of my zoo's and it is black and has two little antanas. it looks like they have a mouth and are chewing on something. I thought (BUT NOT SURE AT ALL) that they had the little arms(are whatever the little things that stick out all around the zoo's) in their mouths.

Does this help any and I will try to get a picture next time I see it.

Thanks for your help.
Nicholas

Hey,
Sorry I have not been able to get a good picture of mine.

This is not what they are.

They look like black tubes with little heads with antannas sticking out right at the top.

They are also not moving around they are staying in the same place.

Sorry I can't help with this much more than that.

Thanks for trying,
Nicholas

Maybe a small christmas tree worm or some other type of feather duster that has little antennae that stick out when retracted.

PS-finding nemo(nice name) - that second picture is eerie looking.

I'm gonna make one more guess.

Tubes with 2 antennae sticking out usually are vermetid snails. I bet if you went to Dr. Ron's site you could ID them more positively

Hey,

Nagel I think that must be what it is!!!!!

It said that common ones are brown and purple and that must be the color of mine but just looks black.

What they described was just like mine though!!!

Thanks everyone for all of the help and I am glad I found out what I think it is!!!!!!!!

Nicholas
