thank you. the next thing i am going to do is on the left side on the top put my refugium. then i will make a cover out of the oak to cover the refugium. that way i can remove it easy to matian it. as well in the side cabinet sits the skimmer aqua controller etc.. i am going to post pictures of the sump area with maybe some pictures of the whole job as i was building it

Just a quick question about your lighting...it seems that you have 6 55w/65w pc in there as well as a dual moonlight...but what are the small single tube lights between the dual tube pc's? I'm assuming that they are T5's...is that correct?

Otherwise...nice tank. What are you putting in the side cabinet? You might want to black/blue out that side of the tank so that you can't see in the cabinet...

as far as the lights that is funny that you say that. their is only 6x 55 units in the hood with a dual moon light. they are the micro Bright Kits from www.ahsupply.com let me tell you thay are the best units i ahve ever seen very bright.
as far as the side cabinet yes i did allreay block off the side and back with the blue background paper stuff.

in the side cabinet sofar is the uv unit,skimmer, aqua controller then in the bottom are is teh food and supply's in the stand is the sump

Ahhhh I see it now, those are the reflectors for the lights...

Yeah I've heard that about the Micro Brights, but haven't experienced them myself. I've got 6 55w pc's over my 30 long (48x12x12) custom tank from Hello Lights. Pretty good stuff from them too.
