Or is there a better place to get Sea-lab No28 calcium supplements and the Eclipcse 3 desktop aquarium?

You know, I might be interested in trying out those Sea-Lab #28 blocks on my little 7 gallon nano I set up.

I'll get one of the small size jars of it if you do place an order.

Thanks!

I'm sure you guys have looked into the Sea-Lab blocks. Lots of people don't like them & some have said the company went out of business. Then again a lot of people like them. There are lots of threads on them.

Reefmaiden, I still have at least a half a bottle of the smaller size which I don't use. I got them from Dr F/S a couple months ago - you can have them since I no longer need them. They're perfect for a nano if you decide you want to use them. My experience is I noticed some increase algae growth in my sump, and it really never did anything for my ca levels. But that's for a 50 & these are the smaller blocks. The algae DEFINITELY could have been from something else, lots of system changes.

Lemme know if you want them free I can drop them off. I'd really like to see your valve set-up.

Hey Fliger-

Sure, I'll take what you have just so I can give it a try, thanks. Maybe you can come by sometime this weekend? I'm not sure what our plans are, so I'll check and let you know what works for me.

Reefyoyo- I won't be ordering since I'm getting some from Fliger, thanks though.

Hey John-
Did you see this? http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=1416994 You've got some competition!!!! But that breeding room doesn't have anything on yours!!! Hey, if you're in a hurry to get the mag 9.5, you can come pick mine up. It's BRAND NEW. I won't need it until you're done w/ my tank. You can just give me the new one you order. I know you're getting some new fish in and you are scrambling to set things up, just trying to help you out. Let me know.

I am not in a rush for that pump. It is for my UV unit which doesn't need to be running yet... Thanks for the offer.

Yeah I have seen Rare's breeding room. He has a pretty good setup. When I get mine to a "publicly presentable" state I will post some pics too. ;)

Usually I like to wait a week to give people time to see the thread. Unfortunately, this time, I have to place the order by Sunday evening.

Fliger, the smaller blocks are way to small for a 50gal tank. Also, the first month takes twice as many blocks to keep the Ca++ levels over 400. But after the first month, then you won't need so much. I used the blocks for several years without an algae problem. Can't say that now of course.

Couldn't find items by catalog number so had to find everything manually. The order is in and shipping was $12.

Please double check my math...the Sea-lab blocks were $19.99 because we ordered 4 total.

JHardman $182.81 + $5 s/h = $187.81
buggle $24.98 + $2 s/h = $26.98

Mo, what you need to do is watch for threads like this and reply with what you want. Most of us are fairly trusting and will order before receiving payment, but since none of us have ever met you some people may want the funds before placing the order.

It would be too much work to keep track of everyone that wanted in on one order or another. It is up to you to check the board and jump in or not.

There was a problem at Drs F&S and the order didn't ship until Thursday, which they never told me about. I found this out when I called on Tuesday to check on the status. Of course, the items arrived on Tuesday.
