Hi would like to know more about these beauty , or where i could read up more to understand what they need and what best for them ..
May i kindly ask are mushrooms labled into different types ? If yes how many are they and what the differents ?
Would T5 do well for well for them if i would place them on higher ground like 5inch away from lights .?
Do they need a large amount of dose of iodine ...?
Thank u all for reading this ..
Hope to hear advises here soon from all the pros out there .

I'm no pro, but here are some links to a couple of articles I found helpful.

You could do a google search for "mushroom corals" or "corallimorpharians" and find lots of stuff I think.
I'm trying to decide about dosing iodine myself. I think it might help, but I've also read that regular partial water changes are all that's needed.

Here's another link with some great info

BTW, don't know about your T5 lighting (I think that's a size of flourescent light, right? I believe mine are T12). Anyway, your total wattage per gallon is probably more significant, and it doesn't need to be much for shrooms -- 2 to 3 watts per gallon might do. Hope others with more experience will chime in on this.

Kill It?....Hmmm, why would you want to kill it? My tanks got 260 watts over a 70 gallon, a little over 3 watts per gallon, I also add Reef Iodide to the system, with regular water changes & for dessert, I feed the tank-DT's Phytoplankton....This set up grows nice shrooms!
