i am currious what lighting your zoo's are under,
at the moment i am running 2 175w 10k's complemented by 2 55w aticnics. i am considering switching the 10k's to 20k's but not totaly sure. any thoughts or imput on this would be welcomed.

my 55g has 440w VHO and the 5.5g has 56w PC, they are doing great in both tanks-spreading.

i guess more so of what i was wondering if the blue in the 20k's would be more benifical than the 10k even though the 10k is closer to natural sunlight

mines a 55 gal as well

I have a 20k 150w HQI over my frag tank and my zoo's seam open faster in the mornings then they did with my 175w 10k...

well they the HQI lighting has only been on the tank now for 3 days so no growth change yet...as for the color it gives everything a nice blue tint...no need to have actinic bulbs anymore...My HQI bulb is brand new so right now I guess its not broke in yet, and get gos from white-->light blue-->blue-->then back to bright white in 20 mins...but when its in the blue phase it look pretty darn good.
