I know thus subject has been beaten to death, but is there any Southdown left in any Home Depot's in CT. I am setting up a 40 Gal FOWLR tank and need 2 bags. I've already checked the HD's in Berlin & Bloomfield with no luck!

A week ago, there were a couple pallets of Southdown at the HD in North Haven (Exit 9 off of Rt 91). I bought myself some... :)

I just found some Southdown at the HD in Norwalk.... It's actually from the company "OldCastle" but they just bought out Southdown. The packaging is identical to Southdown, but just with the name "OldCastle - Easton, PA" instead of "Southdown - Easton, PA" Just a heads up for anyone in the area.

I saw about 20 bags at the Home Depot in Derby. However, the Danbury store has none.

No, the store referred to above is outside of Hartford (west) off of I84 sort of new Puppy Center (for a fish store reference).

I picked up a couple bags today at H.D. in North Haven. They still have a couple pallets left. They raised the price on it. Its $5.99 a bag. It used to be $3.99 a bag. They must know that people are using if for tanks or something

The HD in Torrington has about 20 bags of "Old Castle" sand.

I bought 3 bags last night in the Manchester store. They had about 3/4 of a pallet. $5.99 a bag though.
