OK, I've excepted that I have some bristle worms but this morning I saw a couple of hermit crabs fighting over my dead clown fish (he was dead before this battle happened) with a huge white/translucent tentacle looking thing with bristles up both sides. We're talking "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" drama here. I suspect that it's a giant bristle worm...from what I could see it's about 6 inches long, is this going to be a problem? What can I do about this thing if it is, will an Arrow Crab eat one this big? This is the first time I've seen this big worm. If it's harmless that'd be just swell and ease my worries about my other fish and tank inhabitants, just makes me wonder what other surprises I'll encounter :-). Thanks for any info!!!

It should be harmless, I've seen what appear to be six inchers in my tank, never a problem. Great detritivores.

I've got two good sized bristle worms (6-8inches) in my tank with no problems.
