Is it possible to frag a Bubble Coral?

The short answer to your question, is yes :)

You will be limited/guided by the number of "mouths" on the animal to seperate the polyps.

Some "bubbles" are easier than others... Plerogyra vs Physogyra, phacelloid colonies or not, etc

An electric rotary tool like a Dremmel with a stainless steel cut-off wheel does the trick nicely for cutting clean through the corallum. You'll need/want a razor blade or scalpel to finish the division (through the living tissue).

Feeding the animal well before and after (after a short healing period of some days/weeks) will be crucial. I do hope this specimen has been getting target-fed at least weekly for some time now... else do not propagate a starved coral (common problem)

It would be nice to have a local aquarium society to you to find a member with experience with this or any other Euphylliid. Someone local to walk you through it.
