Unfortunately for reefers with Mother's, the monthly meeting is on Mother's Day. My question is- Is anyone coming to this meeting? I mean I've got over 30 frags, and I don't want to bring them all and auction them off between 5 people. So who is planning on making this meeting, anyone, anyone? Or are you all gonna wimp out and spend Mother's Day with your mothers? I know there are actually some reefing mothers in the club- please disregard any snide comments.

Anyway, If I were to bring everything it would include

(1)Zoanthid rock (yellow/green/orange)- with metallic mushroom
(1)Pink fluffy aquacultured gorgonian-this guy is so sweet
(2)Xenia pom-pom
(1)Green Star polyp rock
(1)Daisy polyp rock (pink with mint centers)
(1)Montipora Cap. (brown with pink rim) a good 3-4 inches across
(1)Montipora Cap. (green with purple rim)
(2)Purple fuzzy acros
(1)Turqoise with pink tips acro-nice white polyps
(2)Red pink pocillapora
(1)Neon green mushroom
(1)Small orange ricordia
(1)Neon green neptheya
(2)Green/tan anacropora
(1)Green elephant ear mushroom
(1)Blue-dot mushroom rock (2-heads)
(1)Metallic mushroom rock (2-heads)
(1)Metallic/blue-dot combo rock
(1)Green with purple edge ricordia rock (2-heads)
(1)Green with purple edge ricordia rock (1-head)
(1)Light yellow/green sacrophyton (toadstool)
(1)Green with green edge ricordia rock (1-head)
(1)Bag-o-stuff (assorted soft corals and small invertebrates)
(1)Nano-tank- I'm making Dan get rid of the thing

Its a lot of cool stuff-I'm reluctant to bring it all for a poor showing. I was thinking about just saving my frags up for the swap at the end of the summer, but then I would accumulate way to many for my little frag tank.

What about my signitures???

I'm interested in your nano, looks like I got a peacock mantis coming my way. Also need (want?) one of those purple fuzzy acros. What of this pink gorg? where did you get it? Have I seen it?

J

Meg- ask Dan what the name of his DSL provider is, I need to change!

Meg, did you guys get rid of the mantis? Brent

Jason- DSL provider is jasnetworks

peacock mantis, cool dude! Yeah we got one of those little all in one nanos, with a little light and filter and what not.

You want purple fuzzy-we got purple fuzzy-ohhhhhh ya.

The pink gorg is the Reef Shop variety, we got a branch from Char and grew it up. It was on a small rock, but I decided to cut the bottom half off and glue it to one of the bigger rocks in our tank. So the result is, I have this cute little fluffy pink guy with several arms on a rock- he's even encrusted a base. You might have seen it. I know you've visited since we've owned it.

Brent- We are done with nano tank creatures- Dan always sets up the nano tank and then he doesn't want to pay any attention to it, so the mantis went belly up. Its okay, they were the tiny green common variety so I don't feel as bad, because God knows I should have fed them if Dan didn't. However, I'm through with that nano- Dan's always bringing home specimens to put in it- the option needs to be removed.

Dan,

Rick Hahn from Grand Rapids will be coming. I wont be there
because of mothers day, but Rick does want a bag-o-stuff!!
He was pretty excited to see you guys are bringing that.
I just made the switch to a 400 watt metal halide, so
I have to adjust everything for next month!!

Thanks,
Mike Hoekstra

Good to hear about your lighting upgrade Mike, 400 watters make a huge difference.

The bag-o-stuff has become a popular item surprisingly, it's all in the name; bag-O-stuff.

We look forward to seeing Rick at the meeting, and we hope to see you next month Mike!
