Looks good. How did you go about switching tanks? Did you use your old sand? Did it cycle again? How long did you wait to put your corals back in? Anything else that you can tell us about the process would be great. I am (hopefully) about to switch from my 55 gallon to a 100 gallon and am not real sure how I am going to do it. Oh, when you get ready to frag those SPS let me know. They look great.

The switch went rather quickly to avoid stress on all the corals and fish. I first got all the corals out and put them in a tub with a heater and powerhead. Then i took out all the rock and put it in the new tank and left the sand in the old one. I am going bare bottom with this tank due to all the flow and not liking sand being blown everywhere by my closed loop. I also did not like the smell and extremely black spots in my sand. I will most likely be adding a small refugium if my nitrates start to get out of hand. I then added the water from my tank into the new one via 5 gallon buckets. After i had as much water as i could put in i put in the fish to avoid stressing them out too much. Then after the water settled a bit and i could see everything i started placing the corals. Then i filled the rest of the tank up with water i had made up already for a water change. Then just turned on all my pumps and checked for leaks and i was on my way. The tank is already clearer than it was when i took the pictures so hopefully by tomorrow it will be back to normal.
Don't worry i will let you know when im ready to frag. My colonies are really taking off so it should be in no time.
