My urchin tipped over a rock of zoos which sent it towards the bottom of my tank face down. I didn't notice it till later in the evening. When I turned it over the zoos were closed up and it was COVERED in blue legged hermits.

I brushed them off and put the zoo rock back up in its place.

A few weeks later, I went around the zoo and lookin and lo' and behold, it looks like there are tons of blue legged hermits down inside the zoo rock.

Im not really sure if they are harming it or not, but I think that the rock is starting to thin out?

Is this common for blue legged hermits to become attached to a zoo colony? What are they doing in there?

Thanks,

Hermits are just really funny. They are sort of mental, and their behavior is mostly unexplanitory.....

i use bluelegs to clean up my new zoo frags of algae,
they're prolly just trying to get to some choice bits
growing between the polyps. i haven't seen any
adverse reactions in my zoo's 'cept for closing up
when walked on.
