I'm planning to buy a 175watt MH soon. I was wondering which of these two types of ballasts do you suggest I should use. The core and coil or an electric ballast. Does it really make a difference? I would like to know which one you use and why. Thanx

The only real difference between Cap and Coil ballasts and electronic is that one runs more efficiently than another. With that efficiency comes less heat produced and less power consumed to run the ballast.
